Hey there, Campers!
This week in crafts, we’re featuring the Dead Wigs, which were worn in our Odyssey production on Angel Island. This show earned the affectionate name “Camp Odyssey” because cast and crew spent weekends traipsing all over the island. Beloved board member and longtime crew Ruth Tringham dubbed it We Players’ Health Farm, a name that’s stuck and gotten us through many challenging days of long, hard work. We love these wigs and the way they demonstrate how something that seems simple or pedestrian can be brought to life by the movement choices of our actors.
