Wonder Storytime 2020

Welcome to We Players’ Wonder Storytime with Alice & Friends!

Subscribe now on Apple Podcasts or Stitcher, or continue on to listen here on our site.

On the celebratory occasion of our 20th anniversary, this spring 2020, we planned to bring you a delightful and hilarious production called What Alice Found There, a new adaptation of the beloved Alice stories by Lewis Carroll. Staged in the wonderland of Golden Gate Park, this joyful journey shall stretch from Rose Garden to Windmill, winding some two and a half miles through San Francisco’s famed park for the people. Our site-integrated performances inspire residents and visitors alike to explore the incredible environmental and historic gems of our beautiful Bay Area. Due to the current global health crisis, our whimsical wonderland must wait.
We will bring you What Alice Found There in spring 2021.

Rather than waiting until then to introduce you to our actors, and to re-introduce you to your favorite Wonderland characters, as well as the lesser-known creatures of Looking-glass World, we bring you this new audio Alice, narrated by our talented team.

We invite you to talk a walk - around the block or in the park nearest you - and tune in to Wonder Storytime.
Or perhaps you’re looking for bedtime stories for your kids? We’ve got you covered. You’re looking for bedtime stories for yourself? Well just lay back and let your inner child delight in the wonder of Alice’s Adventures.

Wherever you are, we hope you are staying safe and staying sane; practicing physical distance and social solidarity. In these strange uncertain times, in this new Looking-Glass world we find ourselves in, perhaps a bit of Wonderland wisdom is exactly what the Dormouse ordered.

Thus grew the tale of Wonderland
Thus slowly one by one…
