Though many of the Angel Island positions have been filled, We Players is still interested in talking with potential production staff and design teams for both performance events. We are also seeking a few special students to intern with the company in 2012. There are a variety of positions available covering a vast array of roles and responsibilities. Please read the project descriptions below and fill out the appropriate staff or intern application.
WE look forward to playing with you!

Macbeth at Fort Point, Autumn 2012 rehearsals run July-August with performances September-October.

Extended information on food component:
We Players productions often involve an edible component within the performance. In addition, during extended on-site rehearsals, We Players provides food for our actors and production staff. The head chef will manage on-site food production (including transportation, preparation, clean-up, and proper storage). Specific needs and responsibilities are unique to each site.
At Fort Point, we will provide snacks and hot teas backstage. This is an old brick fortress, and there are rats and mice. Proper food storage and meticulous clean up is essential.
At Angel Island, on-site rehearsals will extend over the weekends, with Saturday nights spent on-site. WE plans to provide dinner on Saturday nights, breakfast on Sunday mornings, and snacks during (2) afternoon rehearsals. Transportation to the island is by boat, so there are unique packing and transportation considerations. There is some access to fully equipped kitchens (including running water, refrigerators, and oven/stoves), however some of our on-island locations have only wood-burning oven/stoves, no refrigeration, and no running water (water is stored in large jugs in these locations). Head chef should focus on simple, nourishing meals and take the unique restraints of the environment into consideration. A site-visit for prospective candidates will be arranged.
