Rebecca Laibson Popell has been a criminal defense attorney, a singer, a costume designer for her kids’ school theatre, a proponent of criminal justice reform, and a Court Appointed Special Advocate for children in the dependency system (CASA). But first and foremost, Rebecca has been a vocal advocate and supporter of We Players since that fateful rainy day in October of 2010, when she took her family to see their first We Players' performance on an island in the middle of the bay. Since Hamlet on Alcatraz, Rebecca has been a passionate supporter of the company's unique site-integrated theatre practice.
